Depending on how many submissions and posting the contestant entries on facebook and other social sites it will take up to a week to finalize the top 10. Also this will give the judges time to review all entries. Late entries after this may be accepted.

The Grigori tells an epic fantasy tale over 1000 years before the flood of Noah when a small group of Angels from heaven come down to earth in disguise as human men known as the Annunaki. They teach new knowledge, take woman for wives who give birth to children who became great giant warriors & create a hybrid animal warriors for their army. The fallen angels have a plan to deceive mankind, lead them into war & rule all seven kingdoms as gods by persuasion or by force. 

There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were old, men of renown. -Genesis 6 and Enoch 7

Rules READ CAREFULLY:
1. Fantasy Genre.Very Dark and serious story. All contest entry must be at least knee up (full body or showing at least, their knees) . They must be new artwork, full illustration with full background, coloured.  You can draw as many characters as you want in one drawing. 2 entries per person. Also we are lifting the ban on submissions. You can submit more than 2!

2. You change the outfits of my OCs, but try to keep it close as possible to the references.
No tracing, bases etc. I only accept your own work. The clothing is from an ancient time period so keep that in mind and clothing can be from any ancient race, country or medieval etc .
3. You don't have to inform me if you want to enter. If you enter, submit the completed entry to your DA and send me a note with the link of your entry. In your artist comment, please state that it's for the OC contest and post a link to my contest journal or NOTE US. If you failed to do that, sorry, your entry will not be accepted.

4. Do not include other characters (your OCs or other characters from other anime) in the drawing.
The drawing that you submit in DA must be big enough for us to see the details. (1024 pixel)

6. When drawing a Giant or Titan they do not have to be a specific character from the Grigori but include at least one OC character. Giant warriors is recommended 10 to 18 feet tall male or female. Titans are 30-35 feet. 

7. Landscape battle scenes accepted. 

8. (Not required) Design the name "The Grigori" on the work.

9. Allowed Media & Style

11. Draw them in any scene. In battle, leisure, festival etc. None of the "named" OC's should be dying except "generic" warriors/giants or hybrids such as minotaurs. Blood and gore excepted. No Nudity. TV/Movie Posters accepted.

_13. Sponsor Ownership of Entries. You hereby agree that in consideration of your being allowed the chance to enter the Contest and for Sponsor to consider you as a possible winner of this Contest, you hereby agree that all materials that you submit to the Grigori Anime project, DVPfilms, including, but not limited to, any artwork, computer code, graphic designs, design concepts, as well as any form of 'original work of authorship' which you create and submit to Sponsor to enter this Contest, shall become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor. Note that this assignment of your ownership rights includes any "moral rights" that you may have otherwise had in the submission.The work submitted can be used in any way deemed fit and the artist will be considered a contributor to the Grigori Anime.

A. Original Work of Authorship. You hereby warrant and represent that (a) you own all rights to all Entry Materials submitted by you; and (b) all such Entry Materials are original works of authorship on your part and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any other person or entity.

Who are the judges and How they judge.
At least 3 people will be choosing the top 10. The people who are voting are part of this project. After the top 10 is chosen a vote from my watchers and anyone who visits the page can vote. iokoshi.deviantart.com is one of the judges. 

Learning the story: 

The Grigori tells an epic fantasy tale over 1000 years before the flood of Noah when a small group of Angels from heaven come down to earth in disguise as human men known as the Annunaki. They teach new knowledge, take woman for wives who give birth to children who became great giant warriors & create a hybrid animals warriors for their army. The fallen angels have a plan to deceive mankind, lead them into war & rule all seven kingdoms as gods by persuasion or by force. The story come from Genesis Chapter 6:1-4, Book of Enoch, Book of Giants, Ancient Sumerian Texts and Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Annunaki come in peace offering new knowledge. Semjaza, leader of the Annunaki & his right hand Azazel, first visit King Hiroki of Absalom secretly plotting to kill him, marry his Queen Isleen & take over the kingdom of Absalom. They teach the people of Absalom how to build better, stronger castles, how to make weapons & many other things. The people of Absalom are captivated by these new people & quickly follow them. The Annunaki must be careful in implementing their plan so they do not draw wrath from Heaven and allow mankind to do their work for them.

Through years of research I believe that Mythical creatures are not mythical creatures. The origins (or birth) of these directly come from the Book of Enoch and the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as other ancient documents. The Annunaki also were actually the fallen angels, The Watchers. 

Genesis 6 When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim (giants)  were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

In religious texts such as the Christian Bible and the Hebrew Torah, the antediluvian period begins with the creation according to Genesis and ends with the destruction of all life on the earth except those saved with Noah in the ark. The antediluvian period lasted for 1656 years, from creation at 4004 BC to the flood at 2348 BC. 

The Bible speaks of this era as being a time of great wickedness. There were Gibborim (giants) in the earth in those days as well as Nephilim; some translations identify the two as one and the same. The Gibborim were unusually powerful; Genesis calls them "mighty men which were of old, men of renown". The antediluvian period ended when God sent the Flood to wipe out all life except Noah, his family, and the animals they took with them. Nevertheless, the Nephilim (literally meaning 'fallen ones', from the Hebrew root n-f-l 'to fall') reappear much later in the biblical narrative, in Numbers 13:31–33 (where the spies sent forth by Moses report that there were Nephilim or "giants" in the promised land).
